JulieMajoring in fine art, I attended art schools in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico, Seattle and, finally in Santa Cruz, CA where I worked as a travel agent while going to school. My job gave me the opportunity to galavant quite a bit and also fall in love with photography. In 1986, I moved back home to Naples, Florida and was hired by a commercial photographer and decided to get serious about my passion, opening my own business in 1991 after moving to Vermont. I belong to several professional photography organizations and appreciate the chance to hone my craft through seminars and being with other photographers. I've been fortunate to exhibit my work in local galleries and various publications, the most recent one being The Woodstock Magazine.

I raise alpacas, have a collection of rescued cats and am owned by a Landseer Newfoundland, Otis. and a Collie named Gladys. Being the most constantly photographed animals on earth, they seem to humor me whenever they see the camera come out by striking a pose. Steve, the orange Persian seen throughout the site, is my 'cat of a lifetime'; I hope to create a book about him someday. He's quite popular and even receives mail!

Passionate about music, I spend much of my free time creating soundtracks for DVD's, compiling mixes for myself, playing the piano and dancing whenever I can! I'm a greeting card freak and love designing my own; staying in close touch with the people in my life is very important to me. I also teach felting classes using the beautiful fiber from the alpacas which is an artfully fun thing to do during the cold, winter months here in Vermont....one has to get creative with their time!

Well, I just wanted to introduce myself and thank you for taking the time to visit my website. I look forward to meeting you and capturing the special moments of your life...
